Nalani Moenoa

Nalani (Nani) Moenoa joined the Discovery Church leadership team in 2024. She has life-long ministry experience beginning with her family in the Samoan Congregational Christian Church. She served as treasurer, pianist, choir director, deacon, and children and youth ministries teacher. Nani sensed a calling to ministry as a young adult and served as a missionary with Youth with A Mission (YWAM) to Ukraine and Montana. Nani has also served her country and is a United States Air Force veteran. and she worked in Las Vegas at The Harbor Juvenile Assessment Center on the Crisis Response Team. Nani has a bachelor’s degree in Social Psychology and Human Resources Management.

Nani visited Discovery Church in 2018 when she returned from Ukraine due to her mother’s deteriorating health.  After her mother passed away, she served another missions term in Montana before putting down roots in Las Vegas in 2023. Nani serves as the NextGen Director overseeing youth and children’s ministries for Discovery Church. In addition, she is the hub of the church in her admin duties during the week.

Nani carries on the example of hospitality, love, and service to others modeled by her beautiful late mother, Afetualina Theresa Moenoa, and late younger sister, Grace Moenoa-Afa. She carries on her family traditions in caring for her father and other family members in Las Vegas.
